Gentle Aerobics at Gilda’s Club for all cancer survivors
Mondays at 3.15pm, West Houston Street. An on-going class for members of Gilda’s club. Membership is free.

Stowe Weekend of Hope
May 5-7. Annual free weekend of lectures and event for cancer patients and survivors.

Annual Spa Day for Women with Cancer
Sunday, May 21, 9.30am-3.30pm, JCC Manhattan. This full day of free programming offers women suffering from cancer a chance to be pampered and experience renewal in the company of other women. Participants can choose from massage sessions or makeup sessions, as well as attend lectures on nutrition and wellness and participate in exercise programs designed for those recovering from cancer. Offering a safe haven, a sojourn along the way, we are invited to move, pouring the wholeness of our journey into the wholeness of our living.

Whether it lay in a voyage through self, the exploration of the space between worlds, or in the grassroots efforts of three visionaries, the Moving on Aerobics program was born of a legacy that not only supported, but invited partnerships. It is a legacy that is as rich as it is whole. It bubbles with enthusiasm, moves with vision and produces relationships that buoy the spirit and lift the soul. Drawing ideas, value, and vision by the sympathetic influence of what we do is the work of this dynamic community. We invite you to take a journey with us and help navigate new territories.

Volunteers have forged the path

We have done all of this work totally and completely as volunteers, with support from individual donors (thank you Vicki Berman!), the Arnhold Foundation, and St. Luke’s Roosevelt’s Comprehensive Breast Center. Our teachers are currently unpaid, yet they journey with you, serving as the supportive pulse of your vital communities. Come join us and give back to your self, your community, and your spirit as we all move on.
